Centennial, an energy development company with a focus on solar and battery energy storage projects, commissioned a rooftop solar project at Tiloreza Volcanoes Ecolodge in Musanze, Rwanda. The project was designed and installed by Centennial’s in-house engineering team and financed through Centennial’s C9 Impact initiative.
C9 Impact is dedicated to financing solar and battery energy storage projects for SMEs in emerging markets. The projects are designed to lower power costs for SMEs, while improving the predictability of their power supply and lowering the environmental footprint of their operations.
Tiloreza Volcanoes Ecolodge, located in the Virunga rainforest near the Volcanoes National Park in Musanze, Rwanda is an eco-friendly facility, offering gorilla trekking tours. The lodge focuses on fostering conservation and community engagement.
